2008 Wings Over Wall Street®
Please join us on Thursday, September 25, 2008, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m, where incredible people like you will gather at a fabulous
event to show their love, support, and commitment to those affected with this terrible disease and to honor the courage and
strength of those fighting with their lives to eradicate ALS. Check this page for more information on Wings 2007 as it develops.
Here are some of the fantastic items
that were auctioned off during Wings 2007.

MDA's Wings Over Wall Street® is a VIP cocktail reception, with exciting live, silent, and
research minute auctions, founded and supported by PALS and CALS to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy
Association to fund research to find a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as
Lou Gehrig's Disease. In 2007, MDA's Wings raised nearly $800,000, bringing its 7-year total to over $7 million.

Funds raised at MDA's Wings Over Wall Street® benefit the research teams of Hiroshi Mitsumoto,
MD of the Eleanor and Lou Gehrig MDA/ALS Center at Columbia University,
and Jeffery Rothstein,
MD of The Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins.
The genetic and molecular research funded by MDA's Wings Over Wall Street® will also help fund treatments
and cures for other neuromuscular and related diseases, not just ALS.
MDA spends more dollars than any other national voluntary health care organization on direct
health care services, ALS support groups, and medical equipment, while helping to support the
global scientific search for a cure.
